HomeTask Founder Jerrod Sessler had built a successful and growing construction business. But it left him overworked, stressed and dissatisfied. Jerrod wanted a way to bring together his construction knowledge and his passion for helping others find meaningful work and independence through self-employment. He and his team realized a handyman franchise was the best way to simplify their lives and help others…but with a twist. They looked at the other handyman franchises out there and realized they could offer a better package, one that was focused first and foremost on helping skilled handymen start a home repair business with a lower cost and better benefits.
