HomeTask Founder Jerrod Sessler had built a successful and growing construction business. But it left him overworked, stressed and dissatisfied. Jerrod wanted a way to bring together his construction knowledge and his passion for helping others find meaningful work and independence through self-employment. He realized that a franchise concept was the best way to reduce his stress and help others. But, with a twist. He wasn't interested in building a business based on a broken system. He dreamed of building HomeTask on a fresh foundation - one that is based on the needs of our culture today and the opportunities to leverage technology to make life easier! After years of energy, HomeTask licensed the very first franchise in 2004.
