About Me:
I’m passionate about service & have never been satisfied with just helping somebody. Instead, I prefer face-to-face interactions as well as the opportunity to create personal relationships. Yellow VAN Handyman gives me the opportunity to do this consistently & still protect time for my family. My day is truly complete when I’ve finished a project for a member (customer) & still make it home for dinner.
Prior to becoming a professional handyman, I worked a traditional 9-5 job as an Operations Manager in a manufacturing plant. I’ve always had an inclination for working with my hands & frequently maintain & improve my own house. Helping friends & family with odd jobs on the interior or exterior of their homes is something I naturally enjoy.
I want to help make my member’s lives easier, reduce their stress, & free up their time by always being available to take care of their to-dos. Consider me your licensed, bonded, & insured handyman on retainer.
When it comes to fixing things, my greatest strength involves repairing flooring, such as refinishing hard wood, replacing tiles & laminate, & laying sub-flooring. With some TLC, a floor can completely transform a room. My most unusual job was the removal of a deceased rodent from under a floor; the member was very grateful.
Most commonly I am scheduled to repair drywall, including small patches & full sheets. When I touch-up the texture &apply a fresh coat of paint, I ensure the final product is flawless. I also do many large projects like bathroom & kitchen remodels or upgrades. At the same time, I make quick work of tasks like fixing a running toilet, leaky faucet, clogged drain, broken electrical outlet or squeaky/stuck cabinet door/drawer.
When a member refers me to their friends or family, I feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude. It shows that they not only trust me but have extended that trust to their loved ones. I work very hard to provide the person referred with the same high level of service.
