About Me:
Helping people & solving problems are two things that I truly enjoy. In my professions, both as a public servant & handyman, I get to spend all of my time doing what I love. Being the owner of my own handyman business allows me to balance my schedule as a public servant, provide exceptional service to my Yellow VAN Handyman members (customers), & still spend valuable time with my wife & 4 boys.
I have been living my dream as a public servant for the past 12 years. Prior to that, I was a lifeguard & swimming pool supervisor while attending university. As a teenager, I worked alongside my father who was a residential builder. I developed many trade skills while working on everything from minor repairs to complete remodels & additions under my father’s supervision.
As a professional experienced in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, renovations, maintenance, & new construction projects, my expertise allows me to be creative & efficient. I especially like to resolve problems for which solutions are not immediately obvious. Furthermore, I enjoy the challenge of working to discover simple yet effective solutions.
Typical projects for me consist of seasonal maintenance or small improvements. The most unusual request I’ve received was to install a cat entry into a high security door. You can call me to assist with tasks such as: spring clean-up, summer landscaping, yard improvements, gutter cleaning & repair, winter emergencies, drywall, hot-water heater replacement, painting, shower & bathtub caulking, squeaky doors or cabinets, & much more.
The best part of a referral is not the business generated, but knowing that a member had such a great experience that they are willing to endorse me & my services. I take great pride in my work & I am committed to establishing relationships based on trust & communication. When a member refers me to their friends & family, I feel I have accomplished my goal of building trust-based friendships.
