About Me:
I thrive in an environment that is full of variety. So, it’s no surprise that I enjoy my role as a professional Yellow VAN Handyman, especially since I get to tackle new & exciting projects every day. Getting to know each of my members (customers) personally is something I truly value. I know these relationships don’t materialize overnight so I strive to cultivate them during each appointment as I take time to listen and then help my members with their home maintenance & repair needs.
Prior to owning my handyman business, I was a realtor. I spent many hours fixing up the houses I was preparing for sale. This gave me a lot of experience & knowledge in the area of home remodels & upgrades. When I ran into a project I wasn’t familiar with, I always enjoyed the challenge of doing research to figure it out.
Fixing a leaky faucet may seem like a small thing, but to a member it can mean a great deal to their quality of life. Solving problems like leaks, patching holes in drywall or getting a porch light to stop flickering are my ways of giving back to the community & helping my members reduce the stress in their lives.
My passion definitely lays in wood working & carpentry. Any day in which I get to work on projects such as cabinetry, crown molding, shelving, or decks/fencing is a good day. I also really enjoy plumbing work; I might even say it is fun! From grouting & tiling in the shower, bathroom, or kitchen to updating faucet & sink fixtures, I am happy to do it all.
The most interesting project I’ve completed was for a very nice couple who had a large picture window. Unfornately, that window opened right up to the neighbor’s house & the couple wanted to increase their privacy without losing the window. I was able to install some beautiful stained glass which gave them the perfect balance between light & privacy.
I’m always grateful when a member refers me to their friends & family. It’s the best, “Thank You” I could receive from a job well done.

- the experience of the service provider was negligable.The job was done in a sloppy manner, and took an extraordinary amount of time to complete. When complete, we had to go and hire another contracter to re-do what was done, at a large expense. We are on an incredible tight budget, and this process was very disheartening to us. We had hoped for a job well done, but instead got a job that had to be re-done. We will not be using these services, or recommending them again. We were shocked at the price tag, as most of the time spent in our home was wandering and wondering what he should do. I could have done a better job myself, and personally feel we should not have had to pay what we did.
